What is the Selection Process?
The selection process for this MPPSC IT Recruitment 2025 is very interesting. It depends on the number of applications they receive.
There are two possible scenarios:

- You will be shortlisted based on your qualifications and experience.
- Selection will be based only on a Direct Interview (100 Marks).
Scenario 2: If total applications are more than 500

Salary, Career Growth & Job Profile
This is a big question: What is the MPPSC Programmer salary and what is the career path?
Programmer & Assistant Programmer (Permanent Posts)
- Salary: These are permanent jobs with a pay band of ₹9300-34800 and a Grade Pay of ₹4200 (Programmer) and ₹3600 (Asst. Programmer).
- What this means: In today’s terms (7th Pay Commission), your in-hand salary will be excellent. The starting basic pay itself will be high, and on top of that, you will get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other government perks.
- Career Growth: This is the best part. As a permanent employee of MPPSC, you have a secure, long-term career. You will get promotions over time, eventually reaching very senior technical positions within the commission.
System Analyst (Contract Post)
- Salary: This is a contract (संविदा) post at “Level 10.” This is a high pay level, and your monthly consolidated salary will be very good, likely higher than the starting salary of the permanent posts.
- Career: This is a contract role. It offers great pay and high-level work experience. However, it does not come with the long-term job security, pension benefits, or slow-and-steady promotions of a permanent government job.
Which is better?
- For Freshers: The Assistant Programmer post is a dream job. It’s permanent, secure, and needs no experience.
- For Experienced Folks: The choice is between the permanent Programmer post (more security) and the contract System Analyst post (likely more starting pay).
5 Common Mistakes to Avoid (Read Carefully!)
- Forgetting the Hard Copy: This is the #1 mistake people will make. Just filling the online form is NOT enough. You MUST mail the physical documents.
- Using Invalid Experience: Do not apply for the Programmer/Analyst posts if your experience is in teaching or software support. It will be rejected.
- No MP Employment Registration: If you are a resident of MP, you must have a valid (live) MP Employment Registration certificate (
रोजगार पंजीयन). Applicants from other states do not need this. - Certificate Date Issues: Your caste/EWS/degree certificates must be valid and issued before the cutoff date (30.11.2025).
- Missing the Deadline: Don’t wait until the last day. Send your hard copy by Speed Post at least a week before the 08.12.2025 deadline.
